The Stay Afloat team will support you with administration and guidance. You bring the community—we’ll make it easy!
WHAT YOU DO?
- Pick a location, date, and time.
- Decide on an activity—BBQ, breakfast, coffee catch-up, or something else!
- Speak with your local Stay Afloat Coordinator.
WHAT WE DO?
- Provide an event poster or social media graphic.
- Supply a Stay Afloat community kit, including:
- High-vis vests for organisers
- Pens, flyers, and trinkets
- Personalised marine-grade
- Stay Afloat stickers for YOUR community.

ON THE DAY
- Your Trusted Advocate will guide you through a simple safety check.
- Have fun, share the materials, and take LOTS of photos to send us!
What Can I Use the Funds For?
✅ Eligible costs:
Catering and event-related expenses (e.g., equipment hire).
❌ Ineligible costs:
- Wages or payments for people’s time.
- Sponsorships.
- Alcohol purchases.
- Other expenses not pre-approved by your State Coordinator.
